But why add something negative to something so wonderful such as giving an animal a comfy place to rest, as I'm sure you would get a lot more people able to donate chairs than dog beds. As for hygiene, it's very easy to hoover every day and use antibacterial spray, etc. If it came to it though I would pick animals over hygiene any day, I would pick animals over anything any day. As for raising children in houses where dogs can go on furniture, I was raised in a house where the animals could sleep where they like.
